WebbWell Way of Life

Now that you’re reading this, I imagine that at some point recently you looked in the mirror and realized, your next project is You. Life can deal its share of blows.

Whether it’s the pain of an injury, the slog of chronic physical or mental illness, or even decades of putting health on the back burner to meet the demands of work and family, I want you to know that I’ve felt the loneliness and loss of my good health too.

Your Health is Your Wealth

You didn’t turn into that person in the mirror in a matter of days, and you probably won’t feel great overnight either.

Breaking bad habits and creating personal health and wellness strategies takes discipline, drive, and determination. While you’ve reached the heights of success in business or life, you might feel as if you can no longer access the discipline that is required to feel and be ‘well.’

I’m here to tell you that you can change course. You can find joy in your body again! You’ve worked hard to make it in your profession or career; now you’re ready to apply that same drive to your well-being. You are bound to succeed with our full spectrum of customized body, mind, and nature fitness retreat programming.

Our job at WebbWell is to create the most supportive environment possible for you to make the changes that you need to make. Nobody can do the work for you. However, immersed in the rejuvenating beauty of nature, with the courage, compassion, and creativity of your loving, expert outdoor fitness guide, you will have access to all you need to transform not only your understanding—but also your experience of what it means to be ‘well.’

I’m glad you found me. Now, let’s go explore in Mother Nature’s Gym!

Meet Melanie Webb

Hi! I’m Melanie, the Founder of WebbWell. Welcome to the WebbWell Way of Life!

My boutique tour operator business Sol Fitness Adventures was a lot of fun—and a big learning experience. I took what I learned working with clients in the gym and on my outdoor fitness retreats and created my course Mother Nature’s Gym.

I still moonlight as a guide in Southern Utah’s National Parks; but Sol Fitness Adventures is where I’ve been—and WebbWell is where I’m going.

WebbWell is Where I’m Going

Everything is coming under one roof now—my Performance Coaching work with private clients, the Mother Nature’s Gym coursework, and my latest creation The WebbWell App.

I’ve invested a lifetime into mastering my craft, but it’s real life experience that has taught me most of what I know. Failures and successes, injuries and healing, fun trips and mis-adventures, you name it—I have been there, done that too. Most people I meet simply want to know that they can trust me to care enough to guide them through the challenging journey of transformation.

Nevertheless, you’re invited to discover the juicy highlights of my travels and studies, career and education, below.

Instead of comparing accomplishments—let’s swap travel stories!

Growing up my family didn’t have a lot of money to spend on traveling. Instead of going abroad, we went deep with camping trips around the West.

Most of our trips were awe-inspiring, bucket list adventures; but I still had a wanderlust to see the world. I decided to go big and celebrate my graduation from college with a backpacking trip through western Europe and northern Africa.

Talk About Mis-Adventures!

My transformational journey began with waiting tables and saving every penny at a cheap but delicious pizza joint on the pier in Pismo Beach, California. You know what they say about Pismo, right? “It’s where the dirt meets the sand.” Ask me what that means sometime…

After a few months in tiny Pismo with a Eurail pass, roundtrip flights and $1,500.00 in the bank, the trip was on.

I’ll never forget walking the entire country of Luxembourg in one day; showing up in the wrong town while trying to visit my brother in England; or sleeping on the ground without a sleeping bag in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, huddled next to the 4 other young travelers I’d met the day before.

Perhaps the most meaningful lesson was experiencing what it felt like to be screamed at in disdain for being ‘homeless’ while sleeping in a train station. A close second was knowing that home was whatever I could carry on my back.

When the money ran out it was time to go home and get a job. I arrived with less than $100 left in the bank and was 18 pounds lighter than when I left. The adventure made me a traveler through and through, and to this day taking a break to go for broke while experiencing other cultures is the best decision I’ve ever made.
