You didn’t arrive at this place in a matter of days, and you won’t feel great overnight either.

Replacing bad habits with healthy one’s or healing from injury or illness takes discipline, drive, and dedication. You’ve worked hard to make it in your profession or career; now you’re ready to apply that same dedication to your well-being.

Our method is simple and grounded in the principles of Mother Nature’s Gym. We can sum it up in three words: Body + Mind + Nature, what we like to call Mother Nature’s Gym.

We’ll explore the method in much greater detail after our first exploratory conversation. Once you decide to book, you’ll get two additional 60-minute Strategy and Program Development Sessions, followed by two more 60-minute Physician and Spouse/partner Discovery Meetings.

Not until we’ve completed these initial onboarding steps will we begin your Retreat Programming and Travel Planning.

Our job at WebbWell is to create the most supportive environment possible for you to make the changes that you need to make. Nobody else can do the work for you.

Immersed in the healing surroundings of nature, with the support, companionship, and guidance of your loving, expert wellness guide, you will have everything you need. You are bound to succeed!

There’s no booking 3-months to a year in advance with WebbWell. When you’re ready it’s time to go, and soon. After our exploratory conversation we’ll spend two more discovery and planning sessions talking about the changes you need to make and the plan to get you there. We’ll decide on a location and travel within one month’s time. 

We understand if you need more time to entertain the idea—take as long as you like! But we don’t book until you’re ready to commit to making the investment in yourself by reserving your dates with money down. Why is that? Because when it’s the right time you’ll know it in your bones. And until you’re good and ready, you’re just not.

WEEK ONE

The objective this week is to purge the body of toxins and change the inertia with movement, rest, and exploration of your eating behaviors while immersed in as much sunshine, fresh air, and natural beauty as possible.

It’s likely that there will be days when you won’t feel so great. You can expect to feel lousy, cranky, tired, frustrated, even scared, sad, or angry.

You are embarking on an epic adventure of body, mind, and nature. You may notice that your sleep patterns are disrupted, hunger and mealtimes have shifted, even your bathroom habits will be affected and yes, you can expect your guide to be all up in that business!

Who are you without all the bad habits to keep you company?

Who are you without the accoutrement and luxuries?

Disruptions in your daily rhythms are normal and to be expected.

If you’re beginning a low carb, high fat diet and eliminating toxins like alcohol, cigarettes, or excess coffee from your diet you can anticipate feeling your worst on days three and four.

But don’t worry, by the end of the week your energy levels will rise and we can look forward to you feeling pretty good overall; perhaps, even, better than you’ve felt in years.

WEEK TWO

Your energy levels are beginning to rise and with that, the amount of movement you’ll do each day. Activity frequency, intensity, time and type will begin to increase this week.

By now you’ve had one full week to experiment with various foods and eating patterns and should have a good idea of what feels and tastes good, when. We’ll pull focus on eating rhythms—the times, locations, types of food, etc. that feel good to your body. Your sleeping patterns may still be disrupted as your body continues to down-regulate its way to a more relaxed state.

This is hard work and you may be tempted to treat yourself to the nearest luxury spa—that massage would feel so good! If you feel that a body treatment would help we support you in that decision; however, we encourage you to wait, sit with the discomfort, be with yourself just a little bit longer…simply notice how you feel in your body.

WEEK THREE

By the beginning of week three you can expect to feel pretty good. Energy levels are high, you feel rested, even a lightness of being.

Now we take advantage of the time we have and begin tracking movement and calories using your wearable technology and Apps to gather and analyze data. This is the time to work out the kinks, obsess over calories in and out, and pay close attention to how you feel throughout the day.

Your focus is dialed inward now. In touch with your hunger, your need for rest and sleep, your desire for movement.

Expect week three to be your biggest week in movement and activity, with increases in every category as well as additional exercise and play sessions including stand up paddling, strength training, or stretching. Can you challenge yourself just a little bit more? What feels good to you?

You’ll probably start to anticipate re-entry into everyday life and want to plug in, ramping up your time online. This is natural, but try to resist. Give your brain and your body the gift of being with your own creative instincts and prepare to watch the magic unfold after just one more week with decreased screen time.

During week three we’ll prepare you for the hurdles that await you upon your return to everyday life.

We do things a little differently at WebbWell. Our 21-Day and 10-Day Immersion Retreats are about the transformation that needs to take place on the inside.

You’ve been out of touch with yourself for too long, and it’s yourself that you need to reconnect with. This isn’t about the newest luxury property or the most exclusive resort. The luxuries you’ll find on our retreats are the ones you need the most—nature, time, and solitude.

I’ve guided transformational health and wellness retreats and immersions in international locations including Baja, Mexico and Osterlan, Sweden as well as closer to home in the red rock landscapes of southern Utah’s National Parks.

You can travel to me in Park City, Utah, or bring me to your ideal location to make this investment in yourself. Our travel network is vast, and we can make arrangements to host your retreat anywhere.

We’ve curated our short-list of preferred venues where we like to run our retreats. Our curated locations are private residences of simple and elegant craftsmanship, places where nature is the star and you can settle back into your body’s natural biorhythms, waking with the sun and going to bed with the stars. 

Professional boundaries are always a consideration. We respect your privacy, honor your family relationships, and operate with the highest levels of ethics and integrity. We insist that accommodations have separate living quarters for you as the guest and Melanie as the guide, with plenty of public space that functions as both a buffer and a co-working space. We’ll come together to do the work while allowing each other the solitude and privacy to rest and even work, if necessary.
